Turkmenistan hosts its national investment forum in Ashgabat on October 1–2, 2026. TABCA is assembling the U.S. business delegation — handling invitation letters, forum registration, and the meetings that make the trip worth taking.
Convened by the Government of Turkmenistan
The Turkmenistan Investment Forum is convened by the Ministry of Finance and Economy. It is where Turkmenistan presents its investment-ready projects, and where the ministries and state concerns responsible for them are made available to foreign counterparts.
The program runs on three useful tracks: direct meetings with government representatives, a working session on the legal and financial mechanics of implementing a project in Turkmenistan, and sector panels covering the government’s declared priorities. A dedicated session addresses artificial intelligence in economic transformation.
The International Finance Corporation, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and UK Export Finance are confirmed participants — which matters, because it means project finance is in the building alongside the projects. The 2025 forum drew over 800 foreign and local delegates and was opened by the President of Turkmenistan.

Priority sectors
These are the sectors Turkmenistan has named for TIF 2026. Several map directly onto what American companies already build and sell well.
Energy & petrochemicals
Upstream and downstream equipment, process automation, and field services. The largest single line of state spending.
Transport corridors
Caspian and Middle Corridor connectivity: rail, port, terminal, and fleet. Turkmenbashy Port is the entry point.
Agriculture & agribusiness
Machinery, inputs, irrigation, processing and storage, plus bulk commodity imports sourced through U.S. exporters.
Water resources
Treatment, desalination, and efficiency technology for one of the world’s most water-stressed economies.
Digital economy
Enterprise systems, telecoms infrastructure, digital government, and virtual asset frameworks.
Green projects
Emissions reduction, renewables, and climate-resilient infrastructure, increasingly tied to IFI financing.
Tourism & urban infrastructure
Construction, building systems, and hospitality development in Ashgabat and Avaza.
Industrial equipment
Heavy equipment, vehicles, tires, lubricants, and parts for state transport and industrial fleets.
Scientific & laboratory
Analytical instruments, commissioning, and services for research and testing facilities.
Why register through TABCA
Anyone can buy a ticket. Most companies who attend a forum like this alone come home with a folder of business cards and no follow-up. What determines whether two days turn into a contract is who carries the relationship in Ashgabat after everyone flies home — which is the part TABCA exists to do.
- ✓Visa invitation and registration. We handle the invitation letter process and forum registration as a group, so paperwork isn’t what keeps you home.
- ✓Meetings booked before you land. We work your capability profile against the ministries and state concerns attending, and schedule against it — rather than hoping for a hallway conversation.
- ✓Procurement literacy. Turkmen state purchasing runs through formal tenders with particular requirements. We help you read them and structure a responsive quote.
- ✓Corridor logistics and terms. Routing via the Trans-Caspian Middle Corridor to Turkmenbashy and inland, on FOB, CIP, and other terms that work for both sides.
- ✓Representation after the forum. A named representative in-region who carries your offer, handles follow-up, and keeps the file moving in November and December.
- ✓You travel as a U.S. delegation. An organized national delegation is received differently than an individual foreign visitor. That difference is real, and it opens doors.
Who gets the most out of this trip
The delegation is built for companies with something specific to offer or source. If the list below describes you, the two days will earn their cost.
- ✓ You manufacture or supply into energy, transport, agriculture, water, or industrial equipment
- ✓ You can quote against a technical specification and hold a price
- ✓ You have export capacity available in the next twelve to eighteen months
- ✓ You are prepared to work through state procurement channels
- ✓ You are sourcing Turkmen industrial commodities for U.S. buyers — technical iodine, petroleum coke, carbon black, bentonite, urea, sulphur, industrial salt, paraffin, or licorice root extract
- ✓ You want a long-term position in Central Asia, not a one-off transaction
Register with TABCA
Tell us what you make and who you’re trying to reach. We’ll confirm whether the delegation fits, and if it does, we’ll start your invitation letter immediately — visa processing is the long pole, and it does not compress.
Registration closes September 15, 2026.
